In line with ongoing government updates that social distancing is likely to be imposed for a long period of time and with British Triathlon’s guidance, we have decide to postpone this year’s event until 2021. Whilst we had considered the possibility of rearranging for later in 2020, we have now ruled this out as it carries the risk of a further postponement.

Norwich Junior Triathlon will now take place Sunday 6 June 2021. Everyone who has already entered will be automically transferred. There is no need to enter again.

Keep safe and well and see you in 2021.

We are putting the finishing touches to our 2020 event and will be opening for entry by the end of January.

There will be a few changes to the course this year to make the event more interesting for spectators (in the past runners have disappeared down the hill for half the track). We are also looking to make the cycle ride safer by removing a couple of the more dangerous corners.

We are making improvements for supporting families – we hope to have food available on-site this year and are working on having one or two things for siblings who are not competing… oh and we hope to have the loos unlocked this year!

Next year’s Norwich Junior Triathlon has been booked for Sunday 7th June. Hope to see you then for another exciting day of Junior Triathlon action!

British Triathlon have recently changed their rules on the use of swimming hats to reduce waste.

We will no longer be providing a swimming hat at registration for Norwich Junior Triathlon, so if you wish to wear one (or have long hair and would normally wear a hat when swimming in a public pool) please bring one with you for the event.

Hats will be available to purchase on the day from Little Fish (who run Hewett Academy pool) for £1.50 each.

Well done to all those who have already registered for this year’s Norwich Junior Triathlon. Half the places have now been taken for both the 9-16 year old event and TriStar Start for 8 year olds.

If you would like to take part register soon to secure your place as we have only 60 places left for 9-16 year olds and 10 places for 8 year olds.

You can now enter the 2019 Norwich Junior Triathlon. Around half of the places have been taken so if you would like to take part you should register as soon as possible.

We are putting the finishing touches to this year’s event – booking chip timing, first aid and other essentials. The entry links on this website now link through to our booking page and this will open on Monday 25 February at 8pm. Places are strictly limited to 120 for 9 to 16 year olds and 20 TriStar Start for 8 year olds.
